THE SHORT VERSION

The key blocks

  • Only official rules can establish an announced eligibility process.
  • Count time, fees and contract exposure alongside rewards.
  • A research checklist is not a project recommendation.
01 /

Separate announcements from speculation

Points, fundraising and popularity do not independently prove that a token distribution will happen. Record confirmed rules, unannounced details and community theories in different fields.

Save the announcement URL and access date. Eligibility can include location or time restrictions; a concise summary must preserve them.

02 /

Put boundaries around the research

Set time and expense limits before starting, and identify operations you will not perform. Ask whether learning to use the product would still be worthwhile if no reward materialized.

Costs already incurred are not a reason to keep increasing exposure. This is a research discipline, not an estimate of a campaign’s success probability.

03 /

A bridge adds another dependency

Ethereum’s bridge documentation describes contract, technical and, in some designs, custodial risks. Bridging can add trust assumptions and an unfamiliar exit process, not simply a fee.

Record the source network, destination, bridge, received asset form and return route. If you cannot explain where the assets go or how they return, remain at the research stage.

04 /

Inspect the claim permissions

Verify the claim domain and contract through the official entry point. Read the wallet request. Recovery-phrase requests, pressure to pay additional money or unrelated permissions are reasons to stop and investigate.

Review permissions after using an application. Closing its page is not a complete security cleanup.

05 /

Keep a record you can revisit

Record the project, sources, rules version, costs, purpose and outcome. When terms change, compare them with the original evidence instead of relying on fragments from a chat group.

This evergreen guide lists no active airdrops and guarantees no eligibility or return. Follow project rules; do not use fabricated activity or multiple accounts to evade restrictions.
