Treasury plans to borrow $618 billion this quarter as factory input prices rise for a 25th month
On November 2, the US Treasury said it expects to borrow a net $618 billion from private investors in October through December while running its cash down from $984 billion to $850 billion. The same day, the ISM manufacturing PMI rose to 55.5 with its prices index at 75.2. BlockBlah separates what the two reports say, what we infer, and what is still unknown.
