Salus reports a new fund-tracing finding

Security firm Salus said in a November 3 post at 16:13 UTC that about 3,600 SOL from the Binance theft reached a wallet it identifies as a HitBTC hot wallet at 08:51 UTC that day. Salus said the funds moved along multiple routes using automated scripts and a peeling-chain pattern.[1]

Salus cautioned that on-chain activity reveals only platform addresses. Identifying intermediary services requires the platform’s internal records, while the end user remains one layer further removed. The wallet attribution and fund routes are Salus’s tracing assessment; BlockBlah has not independently reconstructed each transfer.[1]
