Key points

  • The 1.92 million tokens transferred should not be treated as the total already sold.

Transfers and sales are separate totals

Onchain Lens said in a November 4 post at 15:19 Taipei time that the Mercado Bitcoin hacker had moved 1.92 million VIRTUAL to another address and was selling in batches of 30,000–40,000 tokens. A revision at 15:23 retained both token amounts.[1]

BlockBlah checked Etherscan and confirmed one successful transaction in which the address swapped out 30,000 VIRTUAL through MetaMask Swap Router at 15:19:23 Taipei time. The address attribution and broader pattern of batch sales rely on Onchain Lens's monitoring; BlockBlah has not reconstructed every transaction. The 1.92 million tokens transferred should not be read as the total already sold.[1][2]
