Key points

  • The 53% figure is a pricing snapshot, not a guaranteed outcome.

Prediction market snapshot

At 18:35 UTC on November 7, Polymarket displayed a 53% implied probability for its contract on Bitcoin touching $70,000 or lower before the end of 2026. This reflects market pricing, can change with trading and does not guarantee the outcome.[1]

The contract uses the low of Binance BTC/USDT one-minute candles. A low at or below 70,000 USDT after the contract was created and through 23:59 Eastern Time on December 31, 2026 meets the Yes condition. Earlier price action does not count, and Bitcoin need not remain below the threshold at the year-end close.[1]
